Meet Grace Connolly, our new Communications Intern. Grace was born in China, adopted by an American family, and came to the states where she was raised in West Chester, Pa. Currently Grace is attending Drexel University where she originally studied engineering before switching to a path in marketing. This is her third year at Drexel and her second co-op, and her first experience with MilkCrate. Outside of school she enjoys drinking coffee, watching Gilmore Girls, and crocheting.
HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT MILKCRATE?
I originally saw a small informational flyer about it in a coffee shop and looked into it at that time. Then while searching for a co-op I rediscovered the company and got to learn about it through its website and other online presences.
WHAT DREW YOU TO WANT TO GET INVOLVED?
I really liked the mission of the company and what MilkCrate is doing. It feels unlike any other company I’ve heard of and I was eager to be a part of something so unique.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE GREEN BUSINESSES or ACTIVITIES?
WHAT IMPACT DO YOU THINK MILKCRATE FOR COMMUNITIES CAN HAVE ON AN ORGANIZATION?
MilkCrate can definitely bring an organization together. The social aspect of the app feels like a great way to bond with fellow co workers or students and create new connections with an interest that isn’t always apparent in someone new. Being able to meet others with an interest that aligns with one’s moral compass, such as sustainability, deepens relationships and strengthens communities.
