HOW DID YOU HEAR OF MILKCRATE?
My Philadelphia University professor Rob Fleming. He talked about MilkCrate with such passion. I was also able to interact with the company’s founder, Morgan and Caitlin at student involvement fairs held at Philadelphia University.
WHAT DREW YOU TO WANT TO GET INVOLVED?
Learning about sustainability is one thing but truly bringing it into action is a different scene altogether. I want to be able to understand, from the grassroots level, what it takes to make a change. MilkCrate is a great example and it’s an honor to learn from one of the most innovative companies working to make it easy for everyone.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE GREEN BUSINESSES OR ACTIVITIES?
Recycling and repurposing items – I save all kinds of papers, cardboard boxes and glass bottles in hopes to make something pretty out of them. I also love farmer’s markets – each has its own persona.
WHAT IMPACT DO YOU SEE MILKCRATE HAVING ON ITS CLIENTS AND THE INDIVIDUAL?
MilkCrate is making it easier for the masses to be sustainable. The app and the company’s motto makes acts of sustainability that much more attainable. It is also a great platform for companies that want to be able to reach out to such crowds while also pushing forward their sustainability motto.
