What Makes a MilkCrate Business?

MilkCrate’s database of sustainable businesses is comprised of two streams of listings. The first comes to us from our trusted nonprofit partner organizations, all representing some certification or membership relating to social and environmental sustainability. (Look out for a business’ certification on its profile page.) The second is from independent online submissions, which our team carefully vets using the B Corp Quick Impact Assessment – a questionnaire that tackles everything from an organization’s locality to its purchasing policies.
